Turtle Races

This weekend at my parents house we held the First Annual DryCreek Turtle Races.  # 23 on our Summer Bucket List.  So much fun!  All the kids decorated their own turtles with a little help.

4th of July: Holy Cow!

  We started out our 4th sweating it out at our first 4th of July parade. #19 on our Summer Bucket List. 

That afternoon the boys cooled off in the backyard.

And Grammy made homemade ice cream!

We finished the night of with fireworks!  The first one that went off Kevin responded with “Holy Cow!”  After that Jackson would say “COW!!” each time one went off. 

Logan slept through it all!

Red, White, and Blue Raspberry

Snow cone that is!  Today we went to a Fourth of July celebration at the park with our playgroup.  Dressed in our festive red, white and blue.  Jackson enjoyed a Blue Raspberry snow cone and participated in a parade. 

Afterwards we headed to Chick-fil-A for lunch and a little indoor playtime!

Someone had worked up an appetite. 

I think they had fun today!

Peach Picking

This past Sunday we got out of the house bright and early to do some peach picking before it got too hot! #3 on our Summer Bucket List.  Jackson was more interested in the tractor this year.  So Kevin and I did most of the picking and Logan helped out a little.

Four Months Old: Logan Alexander

Where has the time gone!  So I planned on doing a blog each month for Logan and have been a complete slacker.  So it’s time to play catch up! 

1 Month: 11 pounds, 22 inches

You started to smile and love to cuddle with mom. You kept hours like a vampire.

2 Month:  14 pounds, 24 inches

Laughing! How I love to hear your laugh.  Supported sitting.  

3 Months:  15 pounds 20 ounces, 25 inches

Roll over from back to stomach.  Love playing with toys and blankets.  Everything goes in your mouth!

4 Months: 17 pounds 6 ounces,  26 3/4 inches

You have discovered your feet. You can sit all by yourself for about 30 seconds or so.  You love spending time with your big brother and his stuff!
