Butterfly House and Bubbles

This week we have had a lot of fun with “B” stuff with our play group.  We started out the week at the Butterfly House in Faust Park #6 on our Bucket List.

 

Jackson mostly enjoyed running around, getting dirty and playing in the misters! 

He was very upset I made him sit there for a picture.  Can you see how dirty his knees are?

We also enjoyed the awesome playground and of course we had to do the Carousel.

Today we enjoyed another “B” activity Bubbles!  Jackson and I hosted friends at our house to enjoy some bubble fun.  We even made some homemade bubbles.

Celebrating Dad

Kevin took the day off for his birthday and we decided to have some family fun and head to The Museum of Transportation.  #21 on our Bucket List.

Jacksons favorite part was the Creation Station.  Which is an area set up for younger children where he could  dress up in fun outfits, play in the kitchen, play with trains, put on a puppet show and much more.
After the Transportation Museum we headed to Kevin’s favorite place to eat Chipotle.  Turned out he got a pleasant birthday surprise when a stranger behind us handed a coupon for a free lunch.  Since Kevin is such a cupcake guy we decided to check out Jilly’s Cupcake Bar for dessert for some delicious cupcakes!

Nothing makes you laugh more than making fart noises and raspberries.

You are a boys boy and give high fives abundantly and can wrestle with the best of them but you are also a little flirt and give the sweetest kisses, hugs and smiles!

You love the water and to go down water slides.

You love to dig in the dirt and just get dirty.

You can open doors and feed yourself with a spoon.

You love to eat any dessert but are starting to get picky with everything else.

You get in and out of your stroller all on your own.

You are growing up so fast before our eyes and we enjoy everyday with you!

Friends and Fun

Last weekend we went to a BBQ and spent sometime with friends.  And of course there was lots of food!

Wabash Days

 

Today we headed to the local Carnival in Wentzville #23 on our Bucket List.  We walked around ate some carnival food, checked out the car show, and Jackson played the duck game.  Didn’t manage to get a picture of the duck game but did with him and his prize.  And of course we had to have some LuLu’s shaved ice.

 

 

Something to Celebrate!

Four years ago today I was not looking forward to 25.  Three years ago today 26, who cares I was marrying my best friend in three days.  Two years ago today 27, I couldn’t be happier as I was expecting my first child.  One year ago today 28, I was too busy enjoying my little man to notice.  Today 29, so blessed to have an amazing husband and son, and one on the way! Yes you read right we are due the end of February!  Couldn’t ask for anything more.  So today I am celebrating my wonderful growing family!
