Second Times A Charm

This weekend we headed to Rambach’s Farm in Chesterfield and yes we finally came home with pumpkins!  We actually went not once but twice.  Saturday afternoon we headed out to enjoy the awesome fall weather what I would call “perfect pumpkin patch weather!”  Unfortunately Jackson had other plans.

This was the only picture we have from the day.  I think you get the idea of how the rest went.  So after about 10-15 minutes we headed out pumpkin free!

So we decide to head out bright and early Sunday morning for another try.  This time we decided to bring our wagon along and he was thrilled.  And yes he is wearing the same outfit I wasn’t going to waste it!

We had a ton of fun on our second try at Rombach.  We got one big nice pumpkin and a couple small ones.  Next we headed to Greene’s Country Store on our way home to get the rest of our pumpkins.  They were a little more affordable.  Jackson had just as much fun at the Country Store and found some corn to bring home as well.

Our total pumpkin haul.

While at the Country Store Jackson grabbed an apple from the produce stand and put it in the cart.  Not once but twice.  He was so excited when we got home to eat his apple and he ate the whole thing!  It just took awhile.

Pumpkins Galore

Today we headed to another pumpkin patch this time Pumpkins Galore in Wright City.  There is sooo much free fun for the kids to do I love this pumpkin patch.  Jackson had a ton of fun playing in the sand, digging in the beans, riding and pulling all the different tractors and wagons, jumping in the bounce house and checking out the animals.  Once again we still came home with no pumpkins we are holding out till we go with dad!

Eagle Fork and Some Flashback Fun!

Today we headed to Eagle Fork Pumpkin Patch with our play group.  We took a hayride, played in a maze, rode some tractors, played in all the pumpkins and some corn.  Since it was our first Pumpkin Patch outing this year he held off on buying a pumpkin today since we have more visits planned.

Apple Picking

Our Fall fun began today as we headed to Thierbach Orchards in Mathrasville for apple picking with our play group!

First we took a wagon ride out to the orchard.

Once we got to the orchard Jackson picked a few apples and mom picked the rest.   He enjoyed running under all the apple trees and finding all the apples on the ground!
